Shendy Trit
A Portrait of myself in quiet contemplation. Listened to Maybeshewill whilst creating this.
Cervus Elaphus
Since I really enjoyed drawing those Deers for Waking Aida I thought I would draw another. This was pretty fun to create and I think I’ll try some more animals. Soon to be available as a T-Shirt through my online shop, Follow me on twitter for updates.
The Subjective Clock.
Seconds turn to Minutes turn to Hours turn to Days. A stale unchanging environment and the same daily routine brings a diminished perception of time. Without change, we are less able to develop clear contrasting memories, everything rolls into one and passing months merely feel like days. As we age, events represent a smaller percentage of our overall life experience, creating the effect that time is speeding up. Time should not be taken for granted, opportunities should be seized.
The End Was Joyous.
A quick painting i did in my loft, first time i have ever painted up there. Creating something in a new place every now and again is a good thing. For me, this painting was an exploration of the wonder concealed within catastrophe. Used on the front and back cover of the album “Hachiko EP” by Waking Aida
Waking Aida Deers T-Shirt.
A recent T-Shirt design I did for the band Waking Aida. Available to buy at their upcoming gigs and from their online store shortly after that. Pictures of the real thing coming soon! Check out their Bandcamp and add them on Twitter if you like.
Our Fragmented Life.
We do not see the world as it really is. During saccadic suppression our perception is blinded momentarily, this happens too quickly to notice. There is more to life than what we see and yet even that which we are able to see is truly remarkable.
We Are Not Ambigrams.
Not everyone is consistent with their personality. It is clear that many of us change our behaviour around different people and that’s not a bad thing. Surround yourself most with those who help you to love yourself, when around those who don’t, try to understand what it is that you do not like.
